About
Hi, I'm Eli. An experience-focused industrial designer with a love for creating joyful moments.

I am a June 2025 graduate of the University of Oregon Product Design program with a focus on Industrial Design and a minor in Entrepreneurship through the Lundquist College of Business. From my early days in Waldorf School to working in architecture firms, I have loved creating and engaging my hands in craft. Design School has been a joyful journey filled with creativity, storytelling, and expression.
Growing up with Osteogenesis Imperfecta (brittle bone disease), I relied on products in unique ways. On and off use of a wheelchair, walking boots, and crutches got me through childhood, and now my hearing aids and glasses allow me to move through life with comfort and ease. The intimate use of each of those had a profoundly enabling impact on my life and taught me deep lessons about good and bad design.
In architecture, I learned about BIM, project management, how creative teams operate, and how to bridge the gap between an idea, a drawing, and a built design. I created drawings, went to construction sites, and worked on Universal Design recommendations through on-site Workplace evaluations in San Francisco, New York, Boston, Dublin, London, and Paris.
Entering the Industrial Design world, I cannot wait to use my insights about the importance of good design, to create that level of positive impact though the products I help create.
Outside of design, I enjoy photography, cycling, hiking, golfing, cooking, or tinkering with creative projects of all kinds.
